Sadiq Khan’s election was expected. He was the favorite over Conservative Zac Goldsmith. The new mayor made it clear. He will be a leader for all.

He said his administration would be open. People will be able to reach him. He will be involved in everything.

He celebrated his victory at an Anglican Cathedral. The London chief of police, Christian, and Jewish leaders surrounded him. There were celebrities.

He overcame a campaign trying to show him as a supporter of terrorists.
