Recently asked questions:

Q. Do you use a readability formula for testing the articles? If so, which one and why?

A. We subject our material to readability formulas. We use Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level because it seems to work well and is readily available from Word.

Q. Do you abridge the stories or edit them for readability?

A. We compose our stories based on articles. They are freshly written to reflect the article, but are not intended to be an edited version.

Q. Is the paper only available on-line?

A. Yes.

Q. How much does the paper cost? Do you have free copies for non-profit  organizations?

A. The Times in Plain English is available without cost. It may be reproduced and distributed by all.
