May 17, 2011
Plain English Version

Texas governor Rick Perry is signing a bill into law. The law will make Texas voters show photo identification before voting. The governor and other Republicans say photo identification is necessary to prevent fraud. Democrats say it will make it harder for poor and minority Texans to vote.
