National Football League Takes Over Sundays for a Month

January 4, 2015
Plain English Version

In our opinion

The NFL Playoffs began Saturday, January 3, 2015. The wild card teams played. The season will end when two teams meet in the Super Bowl on February 1, 2015. The winner will be the champion of the National Football League (NFL).

The NFL has two conferences: the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). (See printable chart of playoff schedule.)

The current playoff teams of the NFC are: Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers.

The current playoff teams of the AFC are: New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.

The Seahawks won the Super Bowl last year.

Sports fans love to predict the outcome of the games. Now is the time to predict how the playoffs will play out.

In our opinion not all of these teams are real contenders for the Super Bowl. The Cardinals will play with a back-up quarterback. The Patriots, Broncos, and Packers all have fantastic quarterbacks. The Cowboys have the best quarterback and running back combination in the league.

Predictions: it will come down to the Patriots beating the Ravens for the AFC title. The Cowboys will beat the Seahawks for the NFC title.

The Patriots will defeat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl and will win the NFL championship.

There are three main reasons to predict that the Patriots will win the Super Bowl.

The first is Rob Gronkowski (number 87), the best tight end in football. He is impossible to stop. The second is their defense team, which has been very good this season. The third is the presence of Tom Brady. He is one of the best quarterbacks in history and has won the Super Bowl before.

Let the games begin!
